In most, if not all B/W photographs, light and dark are the prime subjects. You use them extremely well here by pulling the viewer's eyes directly towards the window, and therefore to the far end of the photo. This creates an excellent depth of field.
Like many photographs in your gallery, you capture symmetry to an almost surgical precision. The man immediately becomes the next subject because of his off-kilter positioning, which immediately commands attention. His almost haunting posture is in perfect tune with the overall atmosphere.
Subjects bring me to the pipe in the foreground. While I focused on the furthest depths of the photograph, I kept getting distracted by this lit object in the foreground. I personally don't feel that the entire image would lose anything without it there.
